DeskProto V61 splash screen Last DeskProto V6.1 bugfix build
A next bugfix build (Service Release) is available for DeskProto V6.1 (probably the last, as V7 will be ready very soon). It can be installed by running the Updater Setup. A list of bug-fixes and a link to the Updater can be found on the Build history page >>.

Be assured that anyone who now buys a new V6.1 license or an upgrade to V6.1 will receive a FREE Upgrade to Version 7 when that has been released.

Beer tray project We want to thank all beta-testers of DeskProto Version 7: with their help we are currently fixing the 'last' bugs and even making a number of extra improvements. The illustration above shows lesson 1 in the new V7 Tutorial book, about Vector machining based on 2D curves in a DXF drawing file.

We have planned the official release of DeskProto V7 on the RapidPro trade show (March 7, see below), and plan to roll out the final version and all update licenses later that same month.
This first release will be the English version, translated versions will follow as soon as possible.

We will exhibit on the RapidPro 2018 in Veldhoven (NL, March 7-8). While most exhibitors on this event show 3D printing, DeskProto shows an alternative, under the slogan "for really rapid: use CNC ". We would enjoy meeting you on stand 10 , to demonstrate all new features in DeskProto V7.

The RapidPro combines a trade show with a large number of lectures. Admission is free, though pre-registration is required. For more information: RapidPro  >>

Brass mold for cake Gallery: brass production molds for Fun cakes
This new Gallery project is about Food & Sweets: DeskProto user Domas Systems (NL) machines brass production molds for Fun cakes: cake characters with a filling inside. This is both faster and cheaper than the cast molds that were used in the past, and creates higher quality molds (sharper reliefs).
Read more on the new Fun cake mold page >>

Try for yourself and download the DeskProto trial version from our website. To get started you can use the tutorials (both video and PDF) and the sample geometries.
This is all possible completely free of charge !

Best Regards,

Lex Lennings.
